Moody 47 & 471Custom had various layouts please refer to layout plans. Standard layout: Fore toilet: Marine WC, washbasin, shower, storage lockers, doors to forepeak and both forward cabins. Forward Guest Cabins (2 off): One to port, one to starboard, each with upper and lower berths at ship's sides, hanging locker. Saloon: 'U' shaped settee to starboard with smaller 'U' shaped settee opposite and either pilot berths or bookcase/lockers fitted to ship's sides. Dining table is centrally mounted with large foldout leaves. Galley: 'L' shaped to starboard, cooker, twin stainless steel sinks, hot and cold water, refrigerator, aft of galley is a hanging locker/oilskin locker. Chart area: To port navigators seat, chart table. Aft toilet: Split into two areas with the shower compartment and an oilskin locker forward and marine wc and basin aft. There are doors to the chart area and aft cabin. Aft cabin: Central double berth, settee and wardrobe to starboard, dressing table, an optional arrangement of two twin cabins aft was available. Moody 471 Custom had a built in transom bathing platform and teak decks. Moody Culverneer 500 had a traditional transom with larger lazerettes and teak decks. Moody Culverneer 500 layout varies as follows: Saloon: Starboard snail shaped settee around a folding dining table, opposite to port a second settee. Aft cabin double berth offset to port.
