East Coast Branch Event Reports
Please Note: All Events are cancelled until further notice
In light of the government’s guidance, and that of the MOA General Committee, the East coast will sadly be cancelling its programme of events until further notice. Considering how widespread the Covid-19 corona virus is, and the age profile of members, it is the sensible course to follow. We will of course re-instate the programme of events as soon as the situation allows. 17th March 2020 Alan Giles – Branch Captain
Sunday 29th March – Fitting Out Lunch
Our next event is our Fitting Out Lunch at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club on March 29th. You can enjoy a carvery lunch, with a choice of three roasts and a selection of desserts to follow all for a very reasonable, subsidised, £15.00 per head. A vegetarian option is available.
We need a minimum of 35 members to get the choice of three roasts, any less and the choice goes. I have no doubt that the minimum number will easily be reached as we had over 50 attend last year but to manage this, I have to ask you to book your meal with me and pay £15 per head by March 22nd.
The idea is to meet at 12 noon, have a convivial drink and a chat with fellow members and eat at 1 o/c. For those berthed and afloat on the Crouch, or elsewhere for that matter, there is a pontoon on the river for you to moor to whilst attending. Please book separately with the RCYC.
You can transfer you payment to our MOA East Coast account, Sort Code: – 20-98-07 Account number: – 80643416 with your name as reference or if preferred send a cheque to me made out to MOA East Coast Branch.
Hope to see you there, regards Roger Price, Branch Secretary.
