Mediterranean Branch and France Atlantique Chapter

Get fed up with the short days of January; like  to chat through some cruising ideas; perhaps meet up with others and share experiences and advice with fellow MOA Members; or simply fancy a day out?, then why not join us in Lymington on the 28th January from 12 noon.

 

The Royal Lymington Yacht Club plays host to us – we have arranged a 3 course lunch, including coffee, all at £21.50 per person – do come and enjoy the views of the Isle of Wight and The Solent.

Starter

A1 Watercress and Pea Soup (served with pancetta soldiers),

A2 Pear and Stilton Salad (Veg), (on a bed of rocket and pine-nuts with a honey and mustard dressing),

A3 Parma Ham and Melon

Main Course

B1 Chicken Breast (stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes, wrapped in parma ham, with crushed potatoes and Mange Tout), or

B2 Carbonade of Beef (with gruyere crouton, mashed potatoes and mange tout), or

B3 Tenderloin of Pork (with a mushroom stuffing, served with cider sauce and olcannon & garnished with an apple slice), or

B4 Salmon Steak (with a herb & lemon crust, served with hollandaise, baby new potatoes & green beans), or

B5 Roasted Squash (Veg – stuffed with mixed beans, topped with mozzarella and served with potatoes & vegetables)

Desert

C1 Chocolate Brownies (with berries, orange sauce and cream)

C2 Warm  Seasonal Fruit Compote, (with New Forest Vanilla Ice Cream)

C3 Trio of Cheese and Biscuits

Note: Lymington has an extensive Saturday morning market, (occupying the High Street from 10 am onwards), three Chandleries, (YachtMail, Force 4 and Nick Cox) and two Volvo Marine engineering companies.  If you want to know more about what to see and do then ask when you email your lunch selections).
