Moody Owners Association Terms and Conditions for Goods and Services supplied

People under the age of 18 are not allowed to shop online with us

The Moody Owners Association is responsible for all transactions via Sagepay, BACs or cheque.  Goods or services will not be supplied until the funds have been cleared.

All card transactions go through the Sagepay Secure website and the data is encrypted.  The Moody Owners Association does not handle or store any credit card details.  Sagepay implement 3D secure and other security measures where practicable.

You may apply for a cancellation of an order for physical goods up to 14 days from placement providing it has not been shipped.  If you cancel after shipping you will be liable for the return costs as well as the shipping costs except if the goods supplied are defective.

In the case of membership you may cancel up to 14 days from acceptance, and will be given a refund (see below) less administrative costs (usually postage of the Magazine, Membership Handbook and Membership Card) if incurred.  You must destroy the good supplied in this case since they are for members’ use only.

If you pay by Sagepay and cancel on the same day, we will try and “void” the transaction to avoid any Sagepay / Bank charges for which you would normally be liable.

Refunds will be made if the order is cancelled within the cancellation policies, less administrative costs or bank charges incurred. (see para above regarding cancellations on the same day)

Delivery

Delivery of physical goods ordered should be estimated at between 5 and 7 days for delivery within the UK, except in the sailing season when orders may be delayed by volunteers using their boats instead of this system.  In this case please allow a maximum of 28 days, but don’t worry, this is very rare.  Any variation from the 5 – 7 days quoted will be notified by email.  In cases of International Delivery, we will aim to despatch physical goods within 5 days, but are then at the mercy of the international postal system.  We will keep you informed of the estimated delivery date if it becomes unreasonable.

Customer Data

The Moody Owners Association keeps membership data in accordance with the Data Protection Act and such data is never sold or disclosed to any third parties or our contractors.  It is only used for membership administration purposes and for no other purpose. Click here for more details.
