Royal Maritime Hotel, Portsmouth
The 2025 MOA AGM will be held on the weekend of 28 to 30 March 2025 at the Royal Maritime Hotel, Portsmouth
The MOA weekend programme will start with drinks hosted by the Commodore in the Compass bar on the evening of Friday 28th. Visits will be arranged for Saturday followed by a formal dinner and an after-dinner speaker. The AGM will be held on Sunday, followed by lunch.
Please note the date in your diary and come along to an unforgettable AGM weekend that will also mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of the MOA with the opportunity to catch up with old MOA friends and make new ones.

Attraction ticketing
There is a plethora of ticket types for the various attractions. The MOA has been successful in negotiating a group discount for the Historic Dockyard and the D Day museum.
Historic Dockyard: the MOA discounted group rate (12 or more) for a 1 day 3 attraction ticket is £33 and £32 for 65+. The on the day adult price at the dockyard entrance is £46. Everyone is free to visit the 3 attractions of their choice in their own time once they have a ticket. Tickets can be purchased from 1 March 2025 via the MOA on line shop and will be distributed at AGM registration in the Maritime Hotel (which is adjacent to the Dockyard) on the morning of Saturday 29 March.
Note 1: If you are a serving member of the UK armed forces you can obtain a free ticket at the dockyard entrance on the day of your visit. If you are an armed services veteran you can obtain entry for £20, at the dockyard entrance.
Note 2: You can also purchase an annual ticket for all attractions. If you intend to vist on more than 1 day this represents good value for money. These tickets can be obtained at the dockyard entrance.
D-Day story: We have negotiated a group rate (15 or more) £12.75/ £10.15 for 60+. On the door adult price is £14.45. If you intend to visit the museum, please register you interest on the registration page before the 28th Febuary 2025. If 15 or more members wish to visit, tickets for this venue at the discount rate will be available for purchase through the MOA shop from 1 March 2025
Portsmouth Museum. Entry is free, but note that the museum is closed on Mondays.

Cancellation Policy
Dinner and AGM Cancellations
Bookings for the Saturday Dinner must be cancelled by 13 March 2025 to receive a full refund from the MOA (The hotel require the MOA to finalise meal number/choices by 14 March)

Travelling to Portsmouth
Public transport
Rail: Portsmouth Harbour station is within close walking distance of the hotel. There are services to/from London Waterloo, Southampton, the south coast and some cross country services to the Midlands.
Air: From London Heathrow catch the railair bus to Woking and then the train to Portsmouth. From London Gatwick get the service from Gatwick to Gulidford then change at Guildford for the Portsmouth Service. From Southampton catch the train to Portsmouth.
Hotel parking
There is some parking in Bays at the front of the Hotel for residents, which if available, please feel free to use. Alternative parking can be sourced at the Historic Dockyard Car Park/Admiralty Road car park ( PO1 3GW ) approx. £10.00 for 24hr period with our discount voucher, or park on the side roads marked JA One Hour Free Parking and a 24hour Council Permit is available to purchase from Reception for £6.00. The hotel is only able to try and reserve for Registered Blue Badge Holders.
Portsmouth is serviced by the M271 spur road from the M27, at the end of the M271 road, follow the signs to the historic dockyard.
Once you have made those selections and submitted them you will be redirected to the MOA AGM payment page to pay for the evening meal.
